How it works
Pick a boat and a length
3, 4, 6 or 8 hours. Three or four covers the bay with a swim stop; the Blue Cave needs eight.

The owner confirms the date, usually the same day. Departures run 08:00 to 22:00, seven days a week.

Tivat, Porto Montenegro, Kotor or Budva, depending on where your boat is based.

Conditions

- Boats are chartered for 3, 4, 6 or 8 hours; day and week options exist too. Departures run 08:00 to 22:00, seven days a week.
- Do you need a licence
- No. On most boats the captain is included and you are simply a guest. A licence is needed only for a bareboat charter.
- How many people
- From 5 to 12 guests depending on the boat. Larger ones have 2–3 cabins if you want to stay overnight.
- Payment
- You are charged only after the owner confirms the date. Nothing leaves your card before that.
- Where you set off from
- Tivat and Porto Montenegro, Kotor, Budva, Herceg Novi, Portonovi, Bar, plus Perast, Risan, Kumbor, Zelenika, Pržno, Luštica and Lazure.
- Where trips go
- The Bay of Kotor, Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks, the Blue Cave, Mamula, Sveti Stefan.
- Season
- High season runs June through September. In July and August cars and boats are booked out 2–4 weeks ahead and prices are 30–50% higher.

Do I need a licence?
No. On most boats the captain is included and you are simply a guest. A licence is needed only if you want to helm a bareboat charter yourself.
How many hours do people charter for?
The usual formats are 3 and 4 hours — enough for the Bay of Kotor with a swim stop. People take 8 hours when heading for the Blue Cave or Sveti Stefan.
When am I charged?
Only after the owner confirms your date. Nothing leaves your card before that.
When should I book?
For July and August, a month ahead or more — the good boats in Porto Montenegro go early. In May, June and September a week is usually enough and prices are noticeably lower.

Sorted the car yet?
You still need to reach the marina, and a taxi in season costs more than a day of rental. A car in Montenegro starts at €25 a day.
